And today is also the birthday of STEPHANIE YANEZ!! <3 lov you Miss Stephanie, thanks for responding to my Line (;w;) gift art should be done today or tomorrow ^^
Also birthday of Mizumachi Kengo, from Eyeshield 21 and my anime crush

As always, I'm bored so I decided a quick sketch below the new year drawing and scan it to computer so I can practice my digital coloring skills :D
But then with some magic COMPUTER WORK I was reaaaallllyyyyyy patient to draw, trace, color, shadow and did everything else that it turned...

Need to be really patient doing it, especially I use A MOUSE!! Still, haven't get a drawing tablet X0
How I do it (for mouse users, you can follow it):

1. Open the sketch and re-name the layer. Then create a new layer, I use linework one for lineart.
2. (BE VERY PATIENT) trace the lineart with brush (that's what I use, weird huh ._.)
3. Then if you have squiggly / weird lines you just click CTRL and you just move the dots :-)
4. Then create a new layer where you can add the accessories since I didn't in the sketch, I felt the hair was wrong and I need to make a new hair and so I added accessories. I change the hair in the lineart layer though :D (If you don't want to change anything, proceed!)
5. ALSO you'll need different layers for stuff, so I can't teach you that one since it really depends on you :3
6. Then coloring! Since the max size of the brush still wouldn't really cover much space, we need to be patient ^^; (oh ya create a new layer called base colors for your coloring or its up to you to create separate layers and group them)
7. Then shadowing. I use brush.
8. Finishing, color the eye + blush and add other stuff.

How to color the eye? Use the brush for the basic color then add a slightly darker color and use airbrush. the effect will be nice :D
How to color the blush? Use the airbrush. I like the airbrush because of the texture :3
How to get a really NICE, SMOOTH lineart / coloring even though you're using mouse? Be very patient. Linework layer recommended. Use CTRL often and fix the dots to become smooth and get rid of jagged ends. Zoom since it will be easier.

I've longed to do this kind of post... like reviews and sharing of what I love (JPOP!!)... and now, finally, got it... my first Jpop CD... ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ
It's SCANDAL SHOW by Japanese pop-rock band, SCANDAL. And it's all girls :3 Go Haruna, Mami, Rina and Tomomi!! (*≧▽≦)

The reason I like their songs it's because it's catchy... pop and rock!
Anyway, I bought the CD for Rp. 85,000 (special price XD) or about $9.50 / 850 YEN ☆ﾐ(o*･ω･)ﾉ
While the one in CDJapan is like Rp. 291,300 or 2913 YEN....
And NO I don't buy the rip-off, I buy the original copy desu!! （￣ー￣）

This is like my first drawing tutorial (not really!!) and I use mouse/touchpad, so it might be easier on you people using the tablet. Okay, here's what MyPaint is about:

MyPaint is a fast and easy open-source graphics application for digital painters. It lets you focus on the art instead of the program. You work on your canvas with minimum distractions, bringing up the interface only when you need it.

I personally love MyPaint because you have an endless canvas, it's simple, easy to understand, has lots of brushes, a wide space, and of course, it's free.

First step is, to download the program. >>CLICK HERE<< 
MyPaint is totally FREE, EVERYTHING IS FREE. So anyway, you click the "Download" on the navigation to download it and choose the system. Supports Mac, Linux, Window 32-bit and 64-bit. I gave you the link to the website so you can discover more about the program.

After downloading, you know what to do, set up the things and etc. And now, let's open MyPaint!

1. where you save, open, new file, etc...
2. undo / redo
3. change color, its like a color picker
4. change brush, but there is more detailed brushes here
5. brush settings (set radius, etc)
6. Those are the tools like I explained in the pics, you can click them to show them or un-show

Well, there's alot of icon sites on the net so I'd want to create icons myself. You can use them without credit, I don't own the pics, I just make them into icons. So bleh.

Nadya Nyobi = A super lazy otaku girl =.= Who loves cats, Eyeshield 21, kawaii stuff, Japan, music, eating, drawing, sleeping, CSS/HTML, tweaking stuff, blogskins, and more~! ^^ Sorry not good at writing profiles.
So generally these are what I blog about. You won't understand if you're not an otaku or someone who loves Japan/drawing like me :P

I love drawing. That's what I actually do almost everyday. When I'm bored or not I draw. I doodle in class. I have so much drawings of myself and I do comics. I also love writing and blogging and typing stuff. The only subjects I love is English (sometimes)and Art. I don't like any other subjects. I hate school.

I also love CSS/HTML. In school I'm learning the basics and stuff, so I studied it on my own. I started being interested when I was involved at this Ning site (grade 4-5) and tweak CSS in Ning themes. Then I went to Blogger, saw the themes by Ipietoon but it was the XML so it was hard to tweak~ so I was happy when there was Blogskins because I became HTML/CSS tweaks like crazy. But the thing I have created is just simple Blogspot theme -.- still learning...

I also love editing images, Paint, digital drawing and Photoshop. I make headers in Photoshop and play with brushes. I do pixelling which is pixel by pixel in good old Paint. I draw now using MyPaint / Paint Tool SAI. by mouse. I know its hard, but hey, what can I do I don't have a graphic tablet!
I don't care if I'm bad in those things, that are things which I'm passionate in, the things I love to do and usually do. My dream job is a mangaka, web designer, graphic designer, author, detective (lol) or illustrator. Motto: "Enjoy life, you only have one." :p
